John moved to Nashville in 1991 and signed a publishing deal with HoriPro Entertainment in 1994. John had has songs recorded by Neal McCoy, Doug Supernaw, Rick Trevino, Brad Martin, and Ty Herndon to mention a few. He has two songs on Tracy Byrd's new album including the title cut "different Things". John co-wrote the 1998 Ty Herndon hit, "A Man Holding On To A Woman Letting Go" and is currently co- producing a project on new country artist, Brooke Burrows.
