Hit Country Songs (1995-Present)
HoriPro has published or co-published many hits during the past 12 years, which were written by such long-term HoriPro songwriters as Frank Myers, Mike Geiger, John Ramey and others.
Frank Myers has co-written two hits for multi-platinum group, Lonestar. He co-wrote the #1 country hit “My Front Porch Looking In,” which also became a hit on the pop charts. Myers also co-wrote the Lonestar hit, “Class Reunion (That Used To Be Us).” Other hits co-written by Myers are “What Say You” (Travis Tritt with John Mellencamp) and “One Honest Heart” (Reba McEntire).
Mike Geiger has written many hits spanning two decades (for such artists as Sawyer Brown, T. Graham Brown, Skip Ewing) and was once the recipient of the BMI Songwriter Of The Year Award. Geiger co-wrote such hit songs as “Adalida” (George Strait), “Cold One Comin’ On” and “Hillbilly Shoes” (Montgomery Gentry), and “The City Put The Country Back In Me”.
John Ramey is a well-regarded songwriter and producer who has been with HoriPro since 1994. He co-wrote the country hit “A Man Holdin’ On (To A Woman Letting Go),” which was recorded by Ty Herndon. Ramey has also written songs for Tracy Byrd, Neal McCoy, Brad Martin, Rick Trevino and Doug Supernaw.
